The practice of placing cones, chairs, boxes and other objects on public roads to reserve parking spaces remains a recurring problem, with officials continuing to remove such obstructions.
Officials said items placed on roadsides to block parking spaces may be removed, seized and subject to fines. The campaign aims to keep Pattaya clean, orderly and safe for everyone while respecting public space and the rights of others. The city is carrying out the operation under the policy of Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, with officials continuing to inspect areas and remove obstructions.
