PATTAYA, Thailand – Getting off a boat became a nerve-racking moment for tourists returning from Koh Larn, with strong waves causing boats to rock heavily while passengers stepped onto the pier at Pattaya’s Bali Hai Pier. Pattaya Tourist Police were on hand to assist tourists as they disembarked, helping passengers negotiate the unstable gap between the rocking boats and the pier.
The officers stayed close to passengers, providing assistance as tourists carefully stepped ashore and helping reduce the risk of slips or falls during the difficult disembarkation. The operation came amid unstable weather around Pattaya, with thunderstorms and high waves creating challenging conditions for boats travelling between the mainland and Koh Larn. Tourist Police have been maintaining a strong focus on passenger safety, assisting visitors at the pier and reminding them to take extra care when sea conditions deteriorate.
