Thailand’s gold prices rise 50 baht, with 96.5% gold jewelry selling at 69,900 baht per baht-weight in the first announcement on September 19.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Gold prices in Thailand rose by 50 baht on September 19 compared with the final price announced the previous day, with 96.5% gold jewelry selling at 69,900 baht per baht-weight. The Gold Traders Association announced its first price update at 9:06 a.m. Gold bars were quoted at 68,900 baht per baht-weight for buying and 69,100 baht for selling. For 96.5% gold jewelry, the buying price was 67,522.64 baht per baht-weight, while the selling price stood at 69,900 baht. The global Gold Spot price was reported at US$4,379 per ounce.
