PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police joined a coordinated inspection of passenger speedboats and large vessels on September 11 as authorities checked safety standards ahead of potentially rough sea conditions.

Officers checked essential documents, including port-use permits, boat operating licenses, vessel registration, boatmaster licenses and marine engineer licenses. They also inspected safety equipment such as life jackets and fire extinguishers to ensure boats and operators were properly prepared to protect passengers in an emergency.
