Global buyers and exhibitors gathered at the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair to build business connections and expand Thailand’s role in international gem and jewelry markets.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) hosted a networking reception during the 74th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, promoting business connections and Thailand’s position as a global gem and jewelry hub. DITP Deputy Director-General Surinthorn Sunthornsanan and GIT Director-General Sumed Prasongpongchai led the reception, which welcomed buyers and exhibitors from the global gem and jewelry industry. The event provided opportunities to exchange views, expand business networks, and explore prospects for long-term economic cooperation.


The reception also showcased Thailand’s capabilities across the gem and jewelry industry, from production and craftsmanship to international trade. Thailand is seeking to generate greater value through creativity and design while expanding the industry’s opportunities in global markets.
