BANGKOK, Thailand – Suwanthep “Tony” Malhotra, CEO of GreenOrange Hospitality Management, joined leading professionals from Thailand’s hospitality industry at the Hotel Economic Forum 2026 in Bangkok, where experts exchanged ideas on the future of the Thai hotel business.

Held on September 2 at the KMITL auditorium in Bangkok, the forum brought together hotel operators, accommodation businesses, investors, executives and other industry stakeholders to share knowledge, build partnerships and explore new opportunities in a rapidly changing hospitality market.

Tony joined the panel discussion alongside experienced professionals from the international hospitality sector, contributing his perspective on new approaches to hotel business development and opportunities to create greater value. A key topic presented during the event was the “Affiliate Marketing Program,” highlighting how hotels and accommodation businesses can explore alternative marketing and partnership models to reach new customers and create additional business opportunities.

Tony Malhotra exchanges ideas off stage with fellow hospitality professionals on the “Affiliate Marketing Program” and new marketing and business opportunities for Thailand’s hotel industry.

Speaking about his participation, Tony said he was honored to have the opportunity to join the panel and exchange views with professionals with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. “We are privileged to have a professional team with many members bringing more than 10 years of experience to the hospitality industry. At GreenOrange Hospitality, we understand that the hotel industry is changing faster than ever. We stay focused on adapting to new technology, changing guest expectations and the opportunities emerging in today’s increasingly connected digital world.

“Guest reviews have become an important part of the hotel business and a major influence on booking decisions. Hotels need to pay close attention to their reputation across the digital platforms where guests are making those decisions, while also creating a clear path for interested guests to move from researching a hotel to booking directly with the property.

“We want to see more hands joined across the industry, bringing together government bodies and the private sector. If hotels, businesses and government agencies work together and maintain high standards, we can create better opportunities today while protecting the reputation of our industry for the next generation. We want Thailand’s hotel industry to continue growing and to remain strong for many more years to come.” Tony also expressed his appreciation to Kitti Pornsiwakit for giving HotelPro.Asia, powered by GreenOrange Hospitality Management, the opportunity to participate in the discussion.
