PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City officials, the Pattaya Transport Cooperative and beach-chair operators have joined forces to clearly designate bus stops and mark red-and-white road lines ahead of the upcoming high season. On August 21, Pattaya Transport Cooperative (songtaew or baht-bus) chairman Thongchai Sukkhojai, along with the cooperative’s committee and auditors, joined Pattaya City officials and beach-chair operators to inspect and establish designated bus-stop locations.

The initiative aims to clearly mark bus-stop areas and red-and-white no-parking lines, helping improve traffic management and reduce confusion for motorists and visitors. The cooperation brings together local authorities, transport operators and beach businesses ahead of the high season, with the goal of creating a more organized environment for residents and tourists.

Clear bus-stop locations and red-and-white lines aim to create fair and consistent rules for transport operators, beach businesses, residents and visitors.
