
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Royal Thai Navy Music Division will host a free public concert featuring the Regent Light Music band at the riverside courtyard in front of Golden Place, Tha Tien branch, on August 22, 2026. The concert will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering attendees a scenic evening atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River.
The performance will feature a diverse selection of classic international songs, such as Fascination, O Sole Mio, Scarborough Fair, Somewhere My Love, and Begin the Beguine. In addition to these global favorites, the band will also perform esteemed Royal Compositions, including Candlelight Blues, Near Dawn, H.M. Blues, Smiles, Magic Beams, Alexandra, Dream Island, Still on My Mind, and Oh I Say.
All musical arrangements have been orchestrated by Rear Admiral Weeraphan Woklang, former commander of the Royal Thai Navy Music Division and National Artist in Performing Arts for Western Music. Admission to the concert is entirely free. While limited seating is provided at the venue, audiences are encouraged to bring their own chairs to comfortably enjoy the performance. (NNT)
