PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya firefighters were called to a Jomtien housing estate late Friday night after an uninvited four-meter snake turned up at Suan Lalana Village. At 10:27 p.m. on August 14, Pattaya City Fire Station in Jomtien dispatched inspection vehicle 410 and a team of officers to capture the reptile. The snake was estimated to be around 4 meters long, and its noticeably swollen belly suggested it may have recently eaten. However, firefighters did not confirm what the snake had consumed. The large reptile was safely captured and removed from the residential area, allowing residents to breathe easier.
Authorities reminded residents not to approach or attempt to capture snakes themselves, as frightened reptiles can react unpredictably and attempts to handle them can result in injury.
