PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police assisted a Ukrainian national who approached officers on August 10 seeking help after reportedly failing to receive a house rental deposit back. Tourist Police officers coordinated with a Russian-language interpreter to communicate with the visitor, explain relevant laws and outline the procedures for asserting rights under the rental agreement. The officers also advised the Ukrainian national on contacting a lawyer to pursue the matter through the appropriate legal process.

Tourist Police reminded foreign visitors who require urgent assistance to contact the Tourist Police hotline at 1155 or use the Thailand Tourist Police Application (TPB APP). Assistance is also available through the POLICE CARE application. The case highlights the role of Tourist Police in helping foreign visitors understand local procedures and access appropriate legal assistance when disputes arise during their stay in Pattaya.
