PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police helped resolve a payment dispute involving a group of Lebanese tourists and a shop at Pattaya Floating Market on August 7. Officers from Tourist Police Station 4, Division 2, Tourist Police Bureau 1, responded to a complaint through the 1155 hotline at approximately 8 p.m.
The group had purchased Muay Thai shorts for US$33.33, but although the amount had been deducted from their bank card, the shop’s payment system had not yet shown the money in its account. Tourist Police officers stepped in to mediate between the group and the shop, helping both sides resolve the issue. The tourists were satisfied with the assistance and thanked the officers for helping settle the payment dispute.
