PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Third Road is undergoing a major transformation, with improvements to street lighting, sidewalks and underground utility systems aimed at creating a cleaner, safer and more modern urban environment. The ongoing project includes the installation of new lighting systems, upgrades to pedestrian walkways, removal of old utility poles and the relocation of electrical and communication cables underground.
The improvements are expected to enhance the appearance of one of Pattaya’s key inner-city routes while improving safety for motorists, pedestrians and nearby communities. However, the project is still under construction and work has not yet been completed. Residents and road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the area while construction activities continue.
City officials said the upgrade forms part of Pattaya’s wider efforts to improve public infrastructure, reduce visual clutter from overhead cables and create a better environment for residents and visitors.
