PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police are reminding all visitors travelling by boat to Koh Larn that wearing a life jacket is a must at all times, stressing that water safety should never be ignored.
At 9 a.m. on July 15, Pattaya Tourist Police assisted tourists boarding boats to Koh Larn by helping them put on life jackets and explaining the importance of wearing them throughout the journey. Officers said life jackets are essential safety equipment for every passenger, regardless of swimming ability or travel distance, as unexpected situations can occur during any boat trip.
The reminder comes as Pattaya Bay remains under typical southwest monsoon conditions, with sudden rain, strong winds and rough seas possible even on short crossings. Tourist Police said wearing a life jacket throughout the journey is one of the simplest and most effective ways to stay safe.
