PATTAYA , Thailand – Na Jomtien, the coastal area neighboring Pattaya but managed under a separate local administration, is preparing for more visitors as municipal officials carry out beach improvement work to enhance the area’s appearance and safety.
At 2 p.m. on July 15, Na Jomtien Mayor Phinyo Sainapa, together with municipal executives, advisers and officials, inspected operations to move and reorganize sand-trapping buoys along Na Jomtien Beach in Sattahip District, Chonburi. The work aims to improve the beachfront landscape, maintain public order, increase safety for beach users and strengthen Na Jomtien’s image as a quality tourism destination. Officials used machinery and manpower to carefully relocate the sand-trapping structures, with attention given to efficiency, environmental protection and minimizing disruption for residents and visitors.
