PATTAYA, Thailand – A major multi-agency crackdown was launched in Pattaya on July 2 as over 430 officers joined forces under a coordinated security operation targeting drug-related crime in Chonburi province. The operation, titled “Operation 90 Days: Crushing the Drug Network,” was carried out under the direction of senior Immigration Police officials in Chonburi. Field operations were assigned to multiple investigative units, working in coordination with provincial administration officers, security forces, military personnel, police units, the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, public health officials, and Pattaya City officers.
The large-scale deployment brought together a total force of 430 officers, forming part of a 90-day strategic campaign aimed at suppressing drug trafficking and related criminal activity across Chonburi. The official kickoff and formation lineup ceremony took place on Pattaya Beach Road near the Nipha Lodge intersection in central Pattaya, with Chonburi Governor Narit Niramaiwong presiding over the event. Authorities stated that the operation will focus on intelligence-driven enforcement, high-risk area inspections, and continuous monitoring to dismantle drug networks operating in the region.
