BANGKOK, Thailand – During the first three days of the State Visit of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand to the French Republic, from 28 to 30 June 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya showcased a series of carefully curated ensembles that celebrated the elegance of Thai silk, the artistry of Thai craftsmanship, and the enduring beauty of Thailand’s cultural heritage. Each appearance reflected a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary design, highlighting the Princess’s longstanding commitment to preserving and promoting Thai textiles while reinforcing Thailand’s cultural identity and soft power on the international stage.

Beginning with a Thai silk polka-dot daytime ensemble inspired by an iconic design worn by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, continuing with the elegant Thai Amarin and Thai Dusit dresses for the official welcome ceremony and State Banquet on 29 June, and concluding with a contemporary Thai silk creation by PYVET on 30 June, Her Royal Highness’s wardrobe presented a compelling narrative of Thailand’s textile heritage and creative excellence.

Together, the four ensembles showcased the remarkable craftsmanship of Thai weavers, artisans, and designers, demonstrating how traditional techniques can be reimagined for the modern world while preserving their cultural significance. Through fashion, Her Royal Highness once again projected Thailand’s rich artistic heritage to an international audience, strengthening the country’s cultural diplomacy and enhancing global appreciation for Thai silk.
