
PATTAYA, Thailand – An 18-year-old jetski attendant died on Monday morning, June 29, after falling into the sea while delivering a jetski to customers off Jomtien Beach in Pattaya. incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. near Jomtien Beach Soi 15. Pattaya Lifeguard Center received a report of an unmanned jetski drifting approximately 100 metres offshore. Rescue personnel from the Sawang Boriboon and officers from Pattaya City Police Station were immediately dispatched to search the area.
About 20 minutes later, rescuers located the young man’s body floating back toward the shoreline. He was pulled from the water, and emergency responders administered CPR before rushing him to hospital. Despite their efforts, he was later pronounced dead. The victim, identified only as Chatree, was an 18-year-old employee responsible for operating and managing jetskis at the beach.
Witnesses told police that he had been taking a jetski out to a customer as part of his normal duties when he apparently fell into the sea. The unmanned watercraft was later spotted drifting offshore, prompting the emergency response. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Officers are examining the scene, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses to determine the exact cause of the accident.
