The 2026 Bangkok Classic wraps up after four days of play in Bangkok, featuring 144 pros from 22 countries and more than 60 Chinese amateur golfers, reinforcing Thailand’s growing status as a leading Asian golf tourism destination.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The 2026 Bangkok Classic concludes today at Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club, Bangkok, marking another milestone in Thailand’s growing role as one of Asia’s leading golf destinations. Held from 25 to 28 June 2026, the tournament brings together 144 professional golfers from 22 countries and regions, alongside more than 60 premium amateur golfers from China who travelled for both competition and tourism experiences. Organised under a partnership between the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Guangzhou Office, the China Golf Association, and Li Sheng Sports, the Bangkok Classic is one of the key events on the China Tour and is co-sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour.



TAT also arranged for leading golfers to film a “City Call” promotional video in Bangkok, connecting with China’s quality golf traveller market through sport, lifestyle, and destination-led engagement.

The event has drawn coverage from more than 30 Thai and Chinese media outlets, with content distributed through leading platforms including CCTV, Tencent Sports, TikTok, and international sports media. Publicity includes tournament news, video content, live broadcast elements, and Thai tourism promotional videos shown during the competition. (NNT)
