NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Thailand – Police in Nakhon Ratchasima have arrested a burglary gang involving two brothers and a third accomplice after tracking them through CCTV footage linked to a series of house break-ins. At around 01:30 a.m. on June 21, investigators from Pho Klang Police Station were ordered to pursue suspects in a residential theft case reported in Nong Chabok subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district. The case began after victims reported valuables stolen from homes. CCTV footage along multiple routes helped police identify the suspects and expand the investigation into a wider arrest operation.

The suspects were identified as two brothers, Tawee Sisoongnoen and Wisal Nakheesang, along with Thawatchai Saejang. They are accused of jointly carrying out burglaries at two residences, stealing items including cameras, amulets, and watches, with total losses exceeding 100,000 baht. Investigators said the group used a motorcycle to scout homes before breaking in at night when occupants were away. Police later arrested the two brothers at a rental house in Soi 30 Kanya, while the third suspect was detained at a dormitory in Ban Pradoo community. Some stolen items were recovered. All suspects have been charged with nighttime burglary and remain in custody pending legal proceedings. Investigators are continuing to determine whether the group is linked to other cases.

Local police regularly warn that similar burglary incidents continue to be reported in densely populated communities as well as in residential areas on the outskirts and in more remote locations, including tourist zones such as Pattaya, where both Thai and foreign residents are advised to remain vigilant. Authorities urge homeowners to strengthen security measures by installing CCTV systems, alarm devices, and ensuring doors and locks are properly secured, especially when leaving properties unattended.
