PATTAYA, Thailand – A fisherman made a dramatic sea rescue after discovering a small dog struggling to stay afloat in the waters off Koh Sichang, Sri Racha District. On June 20, fisherman Pitisan Phoksap reported that he was on a private fishing trip in the Koh Sichang area when he noticed a white object floating at sea. As he approached, he realized it was a small fluffy white dog in an exhausted condition.

He immediately steered his boat closer and managed to pull the animal safely onboard. The dog appeared weak and fatigued, with no clear indication of how long it had been drifting in the water.

The fisherman provided initial care and kept the dog safe on his boat after the rescue. He said he was unsure how the animal ended up in the sea but was relieved to have reached it in time. The rescued dog is currently being cared for temporarily on Koh Sichang. Anyone who recognizes the dog or is searching for a missing pet is urged to contact the fisherman (Captain Tote) at 096-890-4355 for possible identification and reunion.
