Buddhist chanting ceremony held at Wat Rajadhivas for Her Majesty the Queen’s 48th birthday

Officials and the public joined a chanting and meditation ceremony at Wat Rajadhivas, led by the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, to mark Her Majesty’s 4th cycle birthday on June 3, 2026.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Permanent Secretary for the Office of the Prime Minister Yupa Taweewattanakitborvon presided over a royal Buddhist chanting ceremony to present blessings and exhibit loyalty to Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of Her Majesty’s 48th birthday.

The Permanent Secretary led the chanting ceremony at the main chapel of Wat Rajadhivas Vihara in Dusit District, Bangkok. The service marked the 4th cycle, or 48th birthday, of Her Majesty the Queen on June 3, 2026. The ceremony was attended by executives, civil servants, staff from the Office of the Prime Minister, alongside members of the Buddhist public.



The Office of the Prime Minister and Wat Rajadhivas Vihara organized the event to express loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty’s dedication to public service. Her Majesty has consistently performed royal duties with His Majesty the King to promote the welfare and happiness of the Thai people. During the service, participants engaged in group meditation and prayers, wishing Her Majesty longevity, good health, and continued spiritual leadership for the nation.
