BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society is advancing campaigns to enhance the “ThailandPostMart” platform, expanding market access for Thai SMEs, OTOP producers, and community enterprises, and supporting both domestic and international sales. Deputy Minister Nan Boontida Somchai said digital platforms and logistics systems play a significant role in creating economic opportunities and supporting long-term growth for entrepreneurs. Thailand Post has been assigned to further develop the platform by leveraging technology and coordinating with relevant agencies and partners to promote local products more widely.

The ministry has also directed Thailand Post to improve logistics cost management in response to market competition and fluctuations in global energy prices, including greater use of clean energy in transportation systems to improve efficiency. At the same time, additional measures are being considered to enhance the national delivery network and better utilize the postal workforce to generate additional income. (NNT)
