SA KAEO, Thailand – Thai authorities are processing 635 nationals repatriated from Cambodia after a crackdown on online scam networks, with arrivals handled at the Khlong Luek Immigration Checkpoint in Sa Kaeo province. The transfer was coordinated between the two countries through official channels under a joint agreement.

Senior military and police officials, including Maj Gen Worawet Wanmongkol of the Army Intelligence Department and Pol Maj Gen Thitthawat Suriyachai of Provincial Police Region 2, visited the checkpoint in Aranyaprathet district to oversee operations and review procedures.

All returnees are being processed under the National Referral Mechanism, which provides a structured system for screening, classification, and assistance. The process includes safeguards to ensure safety, human rights, and the dignity of those involved.
