TRANG, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand is inviting travelers to explore the natural attractions of Trang, positioning the Andaman coastal destination as a must-visit for those seeking pristine beaches, emerald waters, and lesser-known “Unseen” locations. With its laid-back charm and rich biodiversity, Trang offers a diverse mix of coastal landscapes, waterfalls, caves, and islands that remain largely unspoiled.

Key highlights include Pak Meng Beach and Pak Meng Pier, both known for sweeping sea views and striking sunset scenery. Inland attractions, such as Emerald Pool, a former mining site turned into a vivid green lagoon, and Phan Waterfall, offer tranquil nature experiences surrounded by lush forest. These sites are easily accessible and suitable for a wide range of travelers, from casual visitors to nature enthusiasts.

Trang’s marine attractions are among its strongest draws, including Koh Kradan, ranked among the world’s best beaches, and Morakot Cave, where visitors can swim through a cave to reach a hidden inner beach. Other notable sites include Khao Chom Pa, Stone Bridge in Koh Libong, Talay Waek Libong, and Koh Mook, known for their distinctive natural features and scenic viewpoints that attract visitors year-round.

Located along Thailand’s southwestern coastline, Trang is part of the Andaman Sea corridor and is recognized for its strong local identity, traditional communities, and abundant natural resources. Unlike some of Thailand’s more developed beach destinations, the province retains a quieter, more authentic atmosphere, with thriving ecosystems that include coral reefs, seagrass beds, and coastal forests. It is also one of the country’s key habitats for dugongs, reflecting its environmental significance. (PRD)
