National Broadcasting Services of Thailand welcomed a delegation from the Vietnam News Agency to Bangkok for a media exchange program focused on innovation, culture, and urban sustainability, with filming planned at Lumphini Park, Benjakitti Park, and Ong Ang Canal.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), led by Korakot Yotchai, director of the Foreign Language News and Program Production Division (NBT World), has welcomed a delegation from the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) during a media exchange visit in Bangkok.

The visit takes place under the 2026 Media Reception and Facilitation Program, held from April 20 to 24 under the theme “Bangkok Alive: Innovation, Culture, and Urban Sustainability.” The exchange is conducted under a cooperation agreement between Thailand’s Public Relations Department and VNA, with each side hosting activities on a rotating basis.

NBT representatives, including officials from its public relations and foreign-language news divisions, received the delegation on April 20 to discuss opportunities for joint news production. The visiting delegation’s program includes site visits across Bangkok to support documentary and news coverage on urban development, environmental management, and cultural life.

Participants are scheduled to interview officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and other agencies, as well as subject-matter experts. Filming will take place at locations such as Lumphini Park, Benjakitti Park, and Ong Ang Canal, with coverage also planned for cultural events tied to the 244th anniversary of Rattanakosin.

The delegation is also expected to meet Vietnam’s ambassador to Thailand in connection with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The exchange supports continued media cooperation and encourages greater understanding between Thai and Vietnamese audiences. (NNT)
