Children at HHN Foundation for Thai Children in Pattaya celebrate Songkran with smiles, cultural performances, water-pouring rituals, and joyful festivities supported by staff and donors.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The spirit of Songkran was filled with warmth and joy as the HHN Foundation for Thai children joined hands to host their annual Songkran celebration on April 13, in central Pattaya.

The event aimed to preserve Thai cultural traditions while instilling values of gratitude and respect among children under care. The atmosphere was lively and heartfelt, with children, teachers, staff, and supporters coming together to celebrate Thailand’s New Year through cultural activities and shared happiness.

The ceremony was presided over by Siromet Akarapongpanich, Director of Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC), who led the traditional water-pouring ritual for blessings. Educational leaders and representatives from HHN Foundation also gave encouragement speeches, emphasizing good conduct, gratitude, and the importance of preserving Thai cultural roots.

The celebration featured traditional performances by the children, a water-pouring ceremony for elders, and recognition awards, creating both pride and inspiration among participants. The event concluded with joyful Songkran water play and a shared meal generously supported by donors.

Beyond the celebrations, organizers highlighted that more than 200 children under their care continue to require ongoing support for education, food, clothing, and essential living needs.

The foundation is calling on kind-hearted donors to contribute and help improve the lives of vulnerable children. Donations can be made to “HHN Foundation for Thai Children,” Krungthai Bank, Noen Plab Wan Branch, Account No. 591-0-041533, or by calling 038-488-956 for more information.

Every contribution, organizers say, plays a vital role in helping children build a better future.
