PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat has led an on-site inspection of marine rescue boats and emergency equipment on April 1, reinforcing the city’s push to ensure full readiness as sea travel and tourism activity increase.

The visit focused on the preparedness of vessels and lifesaving gear operated by Pattaya’s marine disaster prevention unit. Officials were instructed to keep all equipment in top working condition and ready for immediate deployment at all times.

Rescue teams also conducted operational drills during the inspection, aimed at improving response speed and coordination in real-life emergency situations.
