Thailand’s Ministry of Energy is publishing daily fuel station status updates through provincial Facebook pages, helping motorists check available fuel types and expected delivery times as authorities work to stabilize supply nationwide.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Energy is providing daily updates on fuel station availability nationwide through provincial Facebook pages to help the public plan travel and locate fuel more efficiently.

Deputy Permanent Secretary for Energy and Ministry Spokesperson Veerapat Kiatfuengfoo stated that increased fuel demand in some areas has affected service availability. Provincial Energy Offices have been directed to publish daily status tables for fuel stations that show available fuel types and expected replenishment times.

The public can access this information on Facebook by searching for the provincial energy office in Thai, “สำนักงานพลังงานจังหวัด,” followed by the province name. Updated fuel station status tables are posted directly on each page.

The Ministry has also coordinated with the Royal Thai Police to permit oil transport vehicles to operate nationwide around the clock, accelerating fuel distribution to areas facing shortages.

The Ministry reaffirmed its active management of fuel pricing and reserves to maintain supply stability and ensure public confidence. (NNT)
