
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Department of Employment (DoE) is accepting applications from Thai workers for more than 63 job openings in the Macao Special Administrative Region, with monthly pay ranging from approximately 40,625 to 123,000 baht. The positions are with a local hospitality business that includes hotels, casinos, retail outlets, restaurants, and water park facilities. Applications may be submitted through February 24, 2026, at toea.doe.go.th.
The recruitment covers 20 job categories, with one-year contracts and a 48-hour workweek on a rotating shift schedule. Available roles include chefs, front office and guest relations staff, food and beverage personnel, spa therapists, butlers, concierge assistants, room attendants, and other hospitality positions. Applicants must be at least 22 years old, apply for only one position, and have relevant work experience. All roles require the ability to communicate in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
Employee benefits will follow Macau labor regulations and include health coverage, meals during working hours, and an annual accommodation allowance of 6,000 Macau patacas. Round-trip airfare will be provided upon completion of the contract.
The recruitment is conducted under the government-to-worker overseas employment system, with no application or service fees. Selected candidates are responsible only for necessary expenses, including photographs, passport issuance (if needed), a medical examination, a criminal background check, and membership in the Overseas Workers Assistance Fund, with total costs estimated at 4,000 baht.
