Thailand’s men’s and women’s 3×3 wheelchair basketball teams celebrate after undefeated performances secured places in the gold medal matches at the 13th ASEAN Para Games, with both finals set to take place at Terminal 21 Korat on January 21.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand’s 3×3 wheelchair basketball teams are heading to the gold medal matches at the 13th ASEAN Para Games after undefeated runs in their respective brackets. The tournament opened with wheelchair basketball, and both Thai squads made a strong impression from the start.



The men’s team dominated the preliminary round before overpowering Indonesia 14–5 in the semifinal, securing their spot in the final against the Philippines. On the women’s side, Thailand swept all four group-stage games, including key wins over Lao PDR and the Philippines, earning them the top spot in their group and a place in the final against the Philippines.

Both gold medal matches will be held at Terminal 21 Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima province on Wednesday, January 21. The women’s final is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., followed by the men’s match at 11:00 a.m., as Thailand looks to claim its first gold medals of the Games. (NNT)
