Thap Lan National Park warns tourists after tiger spotted walking on mountain road

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Thailand – Thap Lan National Park has issued a safety alert urging tourists to exercise caution after a tiger was spotted walking along a road leading up Khao Salad Dai in Ban Phutthachart, Thai Samakkhi Subdistrict, Wang Nam Khiao District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.



The warning follows images captured by visitors who encountered the tiger while driving up the mountain. In response, park officials have deployed patrol teams to closely monitor the area, observe the tiger’s behavior, and coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen surveillance.

Authorities emphasize that tourists should avoid traveling to Pha Rak Saladdai during dusk and early morning hours, when visibility is low and wildlife movement increases. The park urges all visitors to follow safety guidelines to ensure their own protection.
