PATTAYA, Thailand – The Meteorological Department reports that upper Thailand is experiencing reduced rainfall, with cooler mornings in the northern and northeastern regions. Meanwhile, southern areas, including Pattaya, may still experience thunderstorms due to prevailing westerly and northwesterly winds over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand.

Waves in the Gulf of Thailand near Pattaya are currently around 1 meter, rising above 2 meters in areas with thunderstorms. Mariners and small boat operators are advised to exercise caution and avoid navigating during stormy conditions.

Typhoon Fung-Wong in the northern South China Sea is forecast to move toward Taiwan on November 12–13, without affecting Thailand’s weather.
