
BANGKOK, Thailand – Sarasas Suvarnabhumi Institute of Technology (SSVIT) held its first International Academic Conference alongside its third National Academic Conference under the theme “Advancing AI Research and Innovation for Global Sustainability.” The events gave scholars, educators, and industry experts the opportunity to explore the role of artificial intelligence in building a sustainable future.
The international conference on October 10 featured keynote addresses by Prof. John Erni and Prof. Angel Mei Yi Lin from The Education University of Hong Kong. Their talks focused on the intersection of AI with cultural integrity, ecological learning, and ethical innovation.
Continuing the academic dialogue, the national conference on October 17 welcomed speakers such as Air Vice Marshal Chalermchai Wonggate of the National Cyber Security Agency and representatives from the National Innovation Agency. Discussions focused on Thailand’s strategic positioning in AI and digital sustainability.
Across both events, more than 150 academic papers were presented, highlighting cutting-edge research, cross-sector collaboration, and new ideas driving AI applications in education, security, and environmental management. (NNT)
