Minister Jiraporn closes Chiang Mai seminar on digital public relations, over 200 graduates certified

Minister Jiraporn urged participants to apply their new skills in grassroots communication, while PRD leaders praised the group’s strong engagement and future role in modernizing public relations.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister’s Office Minister Jiraporn Sindhuprai presided over the closing ceremony of a regional seminar focused on enhancing digital communication efficiency among public relations networks. The two-day event, held at Khum Phucome Hotel in Chiang Mai province, featured government communicators, youth groups, and local media representatives discussing effective public information delivery to communities.



Over 200 participants received certificates of completion at the ceremony attended by key officials, including Penpisut Jintasophon, Secretary to the Minister; Sudruetai Lertkasem, Director-General of the Public Relations Department (PRD); Dusit Singkiri, PRD Deputy Director-General; and Siwakorn Buapong, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai.

The program bolstered digital communication skills through comprehensive training on artificial intelligence applications, online crisis management, and strategic message delivery. Participants engaged in both theoretical sessions and practical exercises developed to help each participant adapt to the evolving media landscape.


Minister Jiraporn urged attendees to apply their newly acquired knowledge to enhance community communication and support national messaging initiatives at the grassroots level, stressing the importance of continuous professional development beyond the seminar.

PRD leadership noted participants’ exceptional engagement throughout the sessions, expressing confidence that graduates will drive more efficient, responsive, and modernized public relations practices across the region. (NNT)
