To help prepare Thai school children to understand the preparation for ASEAN economic integration in 2015, Sakun Suriyinthorn (3rd right) head teacher of Social Studies, Religion and Culture at Phothisamphan Pittayakhan School along with the Mattayom 6 created an ASEAN education room whereby students can use the educational facilities to learn languages, traditions and cultures of our future South East Asian partners.


The latest winner of the ‘Dine ‘n’ Fly with Hilton Pattaya’ campaign was Benjaporn Hunt (2nd right), who received return airfares for two and two nights’ accommodation at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Dine & Fly contest, which runs through Oct. 16, rewards Hilton customers who spend at least 3,000 baht in the Pattaya Hilton’s restaurants and spa. Grand prizes include trips to Koh Samui, Malaysia and Paris. At a press conference in Doha, Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker hosted the airline’s new culinary dream team of internationally-acclaimed chefs inspiring new-look menus and cuisine from around the world. Saran Tantijamnaj (2nd left), director of Region 3 and acting general manager of Central Festival Pattaya Beach recently donated a 30,000 BTU air conditioner to the Pattaya police station. The cooling unit was thankfully received by Pol. Col. Thummanoin Munkhong the superintendent of the station. The Central Festival chief also provided staff to install the cooling unit.


Having raised a considerable sum of money from a charity golf tournament organized by the Cuel Co. Ltd. and its affiliates recently, Steve Hovi (seated 2nd left), the pre-commissioning manager donated 1,573,000 baht to the Fountain of Life Center for use in caring for the children at the centre.
