Pattaya eyes bid
for World Expo 2020

Pattaya business leaders want to cap the steady development of the city’s
tourism industry by hosting the World Expo in 2020. Jamroon Vitsavachaipan,
president of the Pattaya Business & Tourism Association, announced plans to
put forth a bid to host the exposition at the group’s June 16 meeting
attended by city officials, tourism industry leaders and private-sector
groups.
