H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was presented with a cheque of 1.9 million baht by Pierre Andre Pelletier, general manager of the Amari Watergate Bangkok. The Funds were part of the 3.7 million baht raised from the 12th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run and the 13th Aerobic Marathon on Aids to support Chalerm Prakiat School in Lampoon province. The other 1.8 million baht was donated to Baan Gerda Project in Lopburi province to support HIV infected orphans.

 

Philippe Delaloye (4th left), GM of Pullman Pattaya Aisawan recently welcomed actors and actresses from Thai TV Channel 3 to a ‘White Session’ beach party. All guests were dressed in white at the first real Beach Club in Pattaya. The ‘White Session’ is held every first Saturday of the month with the next one on a Saturday, July 3rd. Tesco for Thais Foundation Secretary Saofang Ekaluckrujee joined key vendors to present the ‘Rau Sai Jai Khun’ library and sports equipment worth 1.5 million baht to Ban Wang Lao School in Chiang Saen district of Chiang Rai, with Chiang Rai Provincial Clerk Suwat Phromsuwan graciously accepting the donation.

Dr. Sumet Yamnun (right) of the Commission on Higher Education presents the Outstanding Hotel for Cooperative Education award to Arum Chaisomsri of Dusit Thani Pattaya’s Training Department in recognition of their valuable support and contribution to university students who require practical work experience before they venture out into the real world. Dusit Thani Pattaya was the only hotel in the Eastern Seaboard that received the recognition during ceremonies held 6 June at the Impact Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.
