At Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, health checks were offered free as part of the hospital’s “Good Health Among Family Fair” during celebrations for His Majesty the King’s birthday. Booths offered checkups and consultations and more complicated services were offered at special prices. People also were given the chance to sign cards wishing HM the King, hospitalized for months at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, a speedy recovery.


 

Staff at the Hard Rock Hotel provide lunch for the elderly from the Banglamung Social Welfare Development Center on national Father’s Day. The seniors joined up 40 students from Ban Amphur School for a dinner reception and candle-lighting ceremony.


 

Nichaya Chaivisuth (5th right front row), president of the Hotel Public Relations Association of Thailand recently organized a members’ meeting and a seminar on the topic of ‘The Role of Communications in Change Management’ presented by Dr. Nithinart Sinthudeacha (6th right front row), managing director of N-able Plus Co., Ltd. at the Salon C Room, 3rd floor, JW Marriott Bangkok.


Paul Derbyshire is presented with the Barman Bob of Jameson’s award for Man of the Match for Jameson’s very own F.C. Pattaya. Paul had a good all round game for F.C. Pattaya both on and off the pitch. Last week F.C. Pattaya played against the Bangkok Metrological office and won handsomely.


A group of tourism academics and executives from Indonesia recently visited Dusit Thani Pattaya for a brief and informal meeting with some of the hotel management executives. The discussions focused on hotel business sustainability and other topics related to hospitality. The group was led by I Gusti Putu Laksaguna (5th right) of Indonesia’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. On hand to welcome them were Waran Chalermrritichai (left), hotel director of administration, Thidisida Shingrrisri (4th right), director of rooms and Vanjie Lauzon (right), marketing communications manager of the five-star resort.


Nijaporn Charanachitta (center), chairwoman of Amari, recently was a guest of honor to mark the unveiling of a dynamic new brand identity for Amari Watergate Bangkok during which Yuthachai Charanachitta (2nd left), director and Valaithip Charanachitta (2nd right), director attended. They were welcomed by Pierre Andre Pelletier (right), general manager of Amari Watergate and Thorsten Ries (left), chief operations officer.


Central Festival Pattaya Beach recently organized a ‘Playmate Fashion Show 2009’ where the latest Playboy fashions were being modeled by many Thai and foreign models brought together by the Advanced Millennium 2002 Co., Ltd. MD Worawut Wangworawong (5th right) presided over the event with Tawit Chaisawangwong (4th left), chairman of the Pattaya City Council and Nattawat Ratchapongkulyot (5th left), assistant marketing director representing the hosting venue.
