The Vocalists Association of Thailand, led by Thanin
Indrathep and Suthep’s Fan Club, recently hosted a 74th birthday party for
national artist Suthep Wongkamhaeng at the Siam City Hotel’s Patummat

Luis Rodrigo Zamora (5th left), executive chef at the
Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa arranged a wonderful Thai culinary
experience for the US Navy from the Cobra Gold Group 2008. The 11 US sailors
were given an opportunity to have hands on experience with Thai cooking
starting from an education on Thai herbs and spices along with hands on
preparing tom yum soup and pounding the mortar for a perfect dish of the
famous papaya salad.
Jirayu Wattanasin and Saharat Sangkapreecha, aka Joe & Kong,
signed a guitar during their recent appearance to celebrate founder’s day at
the Hard Rock Cafe before proceeding to perform their all time
favorite pieces. They were welcomed by John Pang (center) F&B manager of the
Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya who also presented them with their new Stage Pass
VIP Privileges card.
The management of Amari Watergate Hotel led by
general manager, Pierre Andre Pelletier (right) recently welcomed a group of
journalists from Indonesia led by Porntip Makornpan (center front), the
tourism Authority of Thailand’s area director of Singapore, Indonesia, and
Philippines, on their arrival for a hotel inspection. Also on hand were
(front row from left) AR Indra Nugraha, TAT’s Indonesian marketing
representative, Nichaya Chaivisuth, the hotel’s director of Communication &
PR, Porntip Makornpan, and Kullapranee Sawareephol, the hotel’s director of
sales & marketing.
