John Pang, director of food and beverage at the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya last week handed out a complimentary gift certificate for 3 days and 2 nights stay at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya to Ratree Mungnapha (right), winner of the Tabasco promotion. The following day the hotel gave away a luxurious Rolex Lady’s Oyster Perpetual Watch in a lucky draw to Kittiya Promrat (left), winner of the Rolex timepiece campaign.

Thiripat Serirangsan (left), Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, presided over the OIC’s meeting recently held at the Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa. Holger Groninger, the resort’s executive assistant manager was there to welcome him.

Twelve teams entered Panorama’s general knowledge quiz teasers. About 40,000 baht was raised for Pattaya Gay Festival Charities, especially the AIDS and HIV foundation Heartt 2000, with a novel feature being an auction of prizes which was presented by Rob Astbury of Pattaya Properties. Here, Tim Durell (left), owner of Panorama in Boyztown, chats to Rob Astbury. The event was the first time that a quiz has been organised to benefit Pattaya Gay Festival, though it certainly won’t be the last.

Hugh Millar recently celebrated his birthday at his Symphony Restaurant with friends and staff. He had prepared a special menu reflecting some of the delightful creations of the resident chef. It was also Janet Smith’s birthday the next day, so Hugh had a double celebration and presented her with some flowers.

Once a month the Rotary Club Pattaya Marina sponsors lunch for all students at the Huay Yai School. Pizzas and ice cream were on the menu, making it the first time for some of the students. No need to ask if they enjoyed it! Rotary Club Pattaya Marina would like to thank “Spicchio” from Carrefour for helping to get all the pizzas ready on time and at a discounted price.

Father Joe (2nd left), representing the Human Development Foundation at the Mercy Center Bangkok, receives a donation from Raimon Land marketing director Henri Young (2nd right) following the recent Charity Golf Tournament at Muang Keaw Golf Course. The Foundation helps children and families in the slums of Bangkok and depends solely on donations.
