As per his philosophy to help children to develop themselves particularly on education, Mr. George E Killian (centre), President of International University Sports Federation (FISU), together with his wife and Dr Sumate Yamnoon (right), Deputy Secretary General of the Commission on Higher Education, visited Wat Ban Mai School in Saraburi province and presented cash of 1.2 million baht plus necessary educational equipment and 15 computers to help students increase the quality of their education.

Michael Barricelli, (left) Managing Director of Pattaya Property Agents and his staff commemorated their first anniversary by holding a religious ceremony conducted by Buddhist monks from Wat Photisamphan at the Wongamat Residence Condominium recently.

Times does truly fly, as proven by the return of Janine Tillmans (centre) former guest service manager of the Thai Garden Resort, who came back to Pattaya to bid farewell to her successor Brigitta Herkner (right) and greet ‘rookie girl’ Claudia Pauli (left) to that position. Good to see you again Janine, good luck Brigitta and welcome Claudia.

At the regular meeting of the Rotary Club Of Taksin-Pattaya on Thursday 6th September the club was pleased to wish “Happy Birthday” to their President John Botting, and Rotarian Michael Bozian, who both share the same birthday of September 4th. A small birthday cake was presented to both John and Michael and everyone joined in along with the hotel staff in singing happy birthday.

The management of the Amari Orchid Resort & Tower, led by the general manager, Dominik Stamm (in the middle) presented a birthday cake and a special flower basket to Alex Sidon, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday anniversary. Alex Sidon has been a resident of Pattaya for over 40 years and is well known in the restaurant and hotel circles. Alex is a former Amari Group executive whose legend dates back to such memorable times when the Nipa Lodge Hotel and the Restaurant Hafen Stueble was in operation. Wishing him good health, lots of wealth and unbounded happiness.
