New General Manager for Amari Nova Suites

Mr. Kurt Rufli, Managing Director of Amari Hotels and Resort has announced the appointment of Mr. Marco Seiler, as General Manager of Amari Nova Suites, Pattaya.

Marco Seiler has been appointed as the new General Manager of Amari Nova Suites, Pattaya.
Before joining Amari Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Seiler, a Swiss national, held positions at Roland Pieroz’s 1 Michelin Star “Rosalp Restaurant” in Verbier, at the famous Grand Hotel Victoria-Jungfrau in Interlaken, Switzerland, as well as at restaurants in Spain and Curacao, The Netherlands Antilles.
In early 2002, he joined Amari Hotels and Resorts as an Assistant Manager, Rooms Division, at Amari Atrium Hotel, before moving to become the Executive Assistant Manager at Amari Airport Hotel, where he stayed until mid 2004. His most recent position was from then on as Resident Manager of the city centre Amari Boulevard Hotel.
Mr. Seiler will oversee the brand new Amari Nova Suites, set to be one of Pattaya’s most luxurious suite hotels, opening in November 2007.

Due to more stringent environmental policies and increasing risk among industrialists in Thailand, Marsh Risk Specialist and Boral Concrete recently hosted a seminar and panel discussion on ‘Environmental Risk Compliance’ at IEAT Complex, Maptaphut Industrial Estate.
The event also included a welcome address on ‘The Future Development of Maptaphut Industrial Estate’ from Khun Peravatana Rungraungsri, Director of Maptaphut Industrial Estate (IEAT) and was followed by a networking cocktail party. The event was insightful and of high quality with over one hundred industrialists and HSE professionals in attendance.
