Clubs

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, April 1. The Club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:30 to 11am. Everyone is warmly welcome. This week the guest speaker will be Suryond Klindee of the Red Bus Company of Pattaya. This will be followed by the lively Open Forum and update on happenings in and around Pattaya. A full report appears each week in Pattaya Mail. Pattaya Ex Servicemen’s Club are holding 2 major events in the not too distant future. In April we travel to the River Kwai for the ANZAC Day Parade, this is an overnight visit. In June we head for Ipoh in Malaysia to attend the Service for those who lost their lives in the 1948-1966 Campaign. We intend to make this a long weekend break. Jameson’s Irish Pub has introduced a new Wednesday three-course ‘Quick Service’ special for 185 baht: Home made soup, mixed salad, or mussels ‘vinai’ (cooked in their shells with butter, garlic & herbs).
