Announcements

Asian University English Summer Camps coming soon. Students aged 14 and up (no upper limit) Camp I 15 March - 11 April 2007, Camp II 16 April - 13 May 2007. Clubs

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, February 4th. The club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Everyone is warmly welcome. This week Thor Halland will make a welcome return with a talk, ‘The Psychopath in your Neigbourhood’. This will be followed by the lively Open Forum and update on happenings in and around Pattaya. The Pattaya International Ladies Club February Lunch will be held on Tuesday, February 6th from 10.30 a.m. at Ocean Marina, Sukhumvit Highway, Tel 038 237 320. Due to the great success of the "Latino Magic" event in June, Mercy Center has decided to organise another similar event. All the proceeds raised will go towards purchasing the property for the children’s shelter. The Mercy Center is involved in various projects in Pattaya including slum, prison, scholarship projects and the children’s shelter for those children who are considered ‘at risk’. The ‘Salsa Valentine" fundraiser will take place at Cuvee Lounge Bar in Jomtien on Saturday 10th February starting at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 850 THB in advance and include a buffet dinner, door prizes, a dance workshop for those interested and lots of fun.
