Announcements

In memory of Jon Wilson, who died in a motor bike accident, the “Mad Dog” MC, of which Jon was a member, will be honoring Jon on June 10 with a memorial ride. The ride will begin at 12 p.m. at Sally’s Bar on Soi 5 in Jomtien, to Jon’s Memorial Stone along Lake Mabprachan. From there a lap around the local race course and then on to the Officer’s Club in Bang Saray for lunch. More refreshments will be served in Bang Chang after which the ride will conclude at The Other Bar Soi 4 (Jomtien) where a barbeque has been arranged along with live music. Cost 750 baht which will include food. The first 50 riders will get a free memorial T-shirt. Half the money raised will be going to Jon’s young daughter and wife.

Mabuhay Diving Club needs diver-volunteers to do underwater clean-up of Pattaya Bay every Saturday. All equipment, boat, food, etc., provided. Please call Steve at 0-4725-3230.

The Pattaya City Expats Club will welcome Jerry Hopkins as guest speaker on Sunday June 11, at 10.30 a.m. Jerry has in previous appearances talked about his book on Fr. Ray ‘In the name of the Boss upstairs’ and his book ‘Thailand Confidential’. Jerry is the author of some thirty books, including best-selling biographies of numerous entertainment personalities in the United States and England. All welcome. The PCEC meetings are held every Sunday at Henry J.
