The organizing committee of the ‘8th Amari Watergate Hotel & BMW Group (Thailand) Midnight Run for Charity’ led by Pierre Andre Pelletier, general manager of the Amari Watergate Hotel and Dr. Frank Roesller, president of BMW Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently presented a donation cheque in the amount of 1,100,000 baht to HRH Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to support ‘Phra Dabos Foundation’ under a Royal Project of His Majesty the King at Suan Chitlada Palace.


Visiting Thailand recently was secretary general of Skål International, Jim Power (seated center). Members of Skål International Bangkok and Pattaya & East Thailand held a welcome dinner in his honor in the Presidential Suite of the Chaophaya Park Hotel, Bangkok. Skålleagues on hand to offer a warm welcome were: National President & International Councilor Malai Sakolviphak (seated left), Bangkok President Brian Sinclair-Thomas (standing 6th left), Pattaya President Andrew Khoo (seated right), and Congress Director of Public Relations Pratheep Malhotra (standing 1st left).


Friends and colleagues gave a warm send-off to Stefan in two separate venues. The first bash, held at the Montien Hotel, was attended by Stefan’s colleagues at the Dusit Resort, hotel guests and friends. The second party was organized by his Dusit Resort family led by general manager Chatchawal Supachayanont.


Celebrating Elmarie’s 40-something birthday with some of their global friends on board the Chaophraya Princess (from left to right): Riaan & sister Estelle Kritzinger (South Africa), Richie May (Japan), Leanne Croucher (USA), birthday girl Elmarie, husband Bob, Christina & Malcolm Boden (UK & Pattaya), Christian Golay with Julie (Switzerland) and Bea Golay (Malaysia).


The management of SriLankan Airlines, led by Barry Brown, chief commercial officer (seated center), recently held its regional meeting at the Novotel Siam Square. Participants were country managers from the Far East and Asia Pacific regions.


Richard & Mrs. Gillian Power celebrated their 30th (Pearl) Wedding Anniversary party at the Montien Hotel, Pattaya surrounded by the hotel’s management and staff.


Pornthip Luanoi, manageress of Jameson’s The Irish Pub celebrates her birthday in the pub surrounded by her friends.
