Announcements

The Pattaya Gay Festival’s 2006 Gala Gourmet Dinner will be held at Bruno’s Restaurant & Wine Bar on Wednesday March 22 beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 1500 baht, which includes a 400 baht donation to festival charities. Tickets available from Jim at Ambiance.

Clubs

The main speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday March 19 will be Dr. Alongkorn Chutinun, a Neuro Surgeon at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital since 2003. During the Pattaya Music Festival, Bavaria Beergarden presents a special entertainment program. Friday March 17 two hobby musicians who celebrate their 101st birthday will perform German and international evergreens and dance music, starting 7 p.m. Saturday March 18 the Navy Band from Sattahip will perform original Bavarian tunes and evergreens and even stage the Bavarian folk dance Schuhplattler, starting 5 p.m. The highlight will be Sunday March 19 starting at 10 a.m. free beer for all guests. At 11 a.m. the Pint Party begins in “Oktoberfest style” with lively music and atmosphere. There is also a flea market where everybody is invited to buy and sell used goods.
