The BCCT in close cooperation with Executrain of Bangkok is holding a two day (Ms Excel 2003) training seminar on January 30-31, 2006 from 9 a.m. (registration) - 5 p.m. at Executrain of Bangkok, 20th Floor, Liberty Square, 287 Silom Road. In this course, you will use Microsoft Excel 2003 to manage, edit and print data, you will use Microsoft Excel 2003 to streamline and enhance your spreadsheets with templates, chart, graphics, and formulas. The cost per participant is THB 4,900 inclusive of VAT, course materials, certificates and coffee breaks. The guest speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday January 29 will be Ralph Baumgartner who is a German lawyer with offices in Bangkok. He is also a law lecturer at Chulalongkorn University. He will be speaking, among other things, about his experiences as an expat working with Thai law and the background of Thai law much of which derives its base on German law. He will also share some thoughts about the present Thai generation of students as they prepare to enter the law practices at this time. The meeting will, as usual, have an update of forthcoming events and reports on the regular mid-week activities. Meetings take place every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. at Henry J. Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) E.S. Hamilton Post 9876 officially meets at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Hogsbreath Saloon, Soi Batman, off Sukhumvit Road about 200 meters north of Pattaya Tai Road.
