Soroptimist International of Bangkok recently organized an annual charity night on the theme of Hollywood Glitter at JW Marriot Hotel. The charity night was aimed at raising funds for disadvantaged women and children in Thailand. The president of Soroptimist International Pat Chagnon (5th from left), is seen with Maleeratna Plumchitchom (4th from right) president and Dr Valerie McKenzie (center) anchor of the Morning Talk TV programme, accompanied by six young bodybuilders from the Thai Bodybuilding Association.


Amari Airport Hotel led by Robert Jaermann general manager, celebrated the opening of Thai Food & Culture Festival 2005 held at the hotel recently with a cocktail reception, followed by a Thai Gala Dinner at the Don Muang Ballroom. General Manager Somporn Naksuetrong of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, Pattaya (far right) presents a cash donation to Sister Joan Gormley of the Good Shepherd Foundation, Pattaya. These contributions will assist in this year’s Jesters’ Children’s Charity Drive which is organized to help underprivileged children. The presentation was also witnessed by Sister Kanyanee Tuanrussamee from the foundation (2nd from left) and Lewis Underwood, president of Jesters Charity Drive (far left).
