Clubs

The Woodlands Resort, Pattaya-Naklua Road, will be the venue for the Pattaya International Ladies Club July Luncheon on Tuesday July 5 from 10.30 a.m. - till midday. Reservations are required and accepted until 2 p.m. the Saturday before the event. The speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday June 26 will be Mukda Pattana-Anek, audiologist and hearing specialist from the Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital. Everyone’s hearing tends to become less distinct as we age and in this world of ever increasing sound levels the damage done through being subjected to indiscriminate “noise” can sometimes be immense. The inbuilt “fear” or wish not to be seen to have to wear a “hearing aid” will be addressed and some of the latest “in-ear” rectifiers will be explained. Everyone is welcome to attend, no entrance fee, turn up at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort on North Pattaya Beach Road. The Lanna Coffee Shop at the Thai Garden Resort is offering more value for money with their daily changing set menu prepared by their European chef Marcus. The Lions Tour of New Zealand and Tropical Bert’s, Beach Road and Soi Regent Marina, seem to go together so on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and for the duration of the tour they’ve moved one of the TVs outside to the beer garden so whilst you watch the game you can still keep an eye on the beach! There’s also a dish out of free jumbo hot dogs at half time. Sundays is the League Quiz whilst Monday is the “In House Fun Quiz” and of course Tuesday it’s Golf Day, meet at 8 a.m. for free breakfast and with a free meal when you return; it’s a great value day. The Tahitian Queen 2 (Soi B.J., Walking Street - South Pattaya) will be holding a “Welcome Back Aussie Alf Party!” on Saturday June 25 from 8 p.m. till closing. Smoked BBQ ribs from the famous Bob’s BBQ grill for dinner, along with side orders of Bob’s brand new patented TQ2 Golden Nuggets. The executive committee of the Pattaya Sports Club is pleased to announce that the PSC Summer Party will be held at the Town-In-Town Hotel, Pattaya Central Road, Wednesday, July 6 from 7 p.m. Includes free buffet and drinks - optional raffle with magnificent prizes.
